Description
You are bidding on a Vintage "NATO MILITARY" Out-the-Front (OTF) Double-Action Automatic Pocket Knife, circa Early-1980s. Measures 7-7/8" OAL with a 3-1/8" Mirror-Polished Stainless-Steel Spear-Point Blade, and a Steel Handle with Olive Drab Green Polymer Scales, Black-Enamel Coated Pinned Bolsters & Frame and a Sliding Switch to release & retract the blade. Weighs 4.7 oz. The Blade has "STAINLESS" over "STEEL" stamped into the tang. Handle's features "*NATO MILITARY*" in gold-colored lettering on the main side, which is a bit faded from handling. This Knife has been handled but remains unused and in VERY-GOOD, CLEAN CONDITION overall. The blade has the original factory-edge and only minor surface wear, opens & closes like it should with no "bounce-back" (with the usual small amount of mov't for an OTF) and no blade peak. Polymer Plastic Scales are chip & crack-free; there are a few small nicks in the steel hardware's black finish mostly along the frame, bolsters look clean. Comes only as shown, no factory packaging or paperwork. Imported in the early-1980s, probably from Taiwan or S. Korea. Getting harder to find in this nice condition.
